Hey,

I know I'm probably bringing an old thread but I just cannot understand a thing about it.
I'm not very good at computers and stuff, just gaming and designing.
So here is my question;

How will I gain internet access on my guest Windows XP???

My main is Mac OS X Leopard and it can access the internet Wireless or not.
So can someone please help me out with this? (In noob language)

I've tried a lot, like change the NAT onto Host-only and stuff.
I just don't get it.

I am not sure what you mean by that statement. Does your Mac have wired or wireless Internet access or both?

You need to give more information about what you have tried and what the result was.

Host only will not give Internet access to the guest, it provides connection only between the host and the guest. Bridged does not work when the host's Internet connection is wireless. But NAT should work?

Yes, I mean I have both.

And I tried NAT the first time. But it didn't work either.
Then I began to search on the internet and tried a lot of things which look like changing NAT.
But I read things about bridging your connections..? I didn't tried that one 'cause I didn't know where to begin..
And after that I just read many things that just didn't made sense to me. Like changing things in cmd..?

I know a little about cmd but not enough.
So can you, or anyone, just tell me step by step how to connect to the internet with VirtualBox Windows XP?

If you still have questions you will need to post more information.

You can setup both wired and wireless by adding another guest adapter set to the proper host adapter.

but how do I use VBoxManage? Where can I find it or something..?
