My Windows cannot join domain

Post by blackcurrant »

I'm using VirtualBox 3.2.2.r62298 on Windows XP SP3 Professional, and login to my OS via domain from SambaPDC on Centos 4.5 server.

After that, I install Windows XP SP2 Professional on my VirtualBox, set the ethernet to bridged, change the IP and so on.
Now my host and guest OS have different IP address, so they can ping to each other, and I can also ping to my server.

But, the problem now :
I cannot join the domain from my guest OS?

Can anyone help me?

Yes, i've set my DNS and turned off windows firewall.
And my guest OS is a fresh install one - i didn't install any program, just the VirtualBox Guest Additions.
Thx by the way.

Strangely, I'm getting this error after upgrading to 3.2.10 (and guest additions). No other changes on my Windows VM have been made..
