Virtual Hosts with Same IP

Post by velcis »

Well, well, VBox, i need to now, if its possible.

In apache, i can redirect differents domain names, for differents folder locations, and with OSes, is possible, with the same IP?

Its possible to run Virtual Hosts, with the same external IP, with different domains?

I really regrats for the answer, very thanks.

I don't really understand the problem. What do you mean? What are you trying to accomplish here? In what way is VirtualBox part of this?

There is no magic involved with virtual machines or virtual networks. They work just like physical ones. In general, anything that you can do with physical machines or networks you can do with virtual ones.

If you run a virtual machine as a web server is should work just like a physical one. Apache works just the same way, as long as it is properly connected to the public network.
