I'm running on a windows 7 host environment. Its a minimal install of ubuntu, my wm = openbox and using xcompmgr for composition. My problem is when I run cairo dock or any transparent windows in seamless mode it shows the guest background behind the transparent window apposed to being able to see through directly to my host system. is there any way to make windows in the guest display fully transparent so when there is a window form the host machine behind it you can see it.

Not with 3D turned on. Seamless has a real problem with accelerated graphics.
