guest access to host adhoc network

I have a Windows 7 host and a Ubuntu 9.4 guest, using version 3.2.6. On the host I have a normal network connection for internet and I have another adhoc network with an USB Wifi dongle. Now I want the guest to have access to both of these networks. The internet connection is on NAT and it works fine on the guest. The adhoc network is on bridged network set to my usb dongle but it does not work on the guest. How can I make the guest to have access to my adhoc wifi network?

Ok, I saw in the FAQ that bridge does not work for wireless. So it seems like the only way to do this is to pass the usb device to the guest and create a adhoc network there.

You can also just set the VM to use NAT. At work, I sometimes have two networks active, wireless for internet and access to the company network and wired to a server. With NAT, I can access internet and the corporate network from the VM, as well as the network shares on the direct connected server.
And bridged does work with wifi.
