Hi,
I have a fresh installation of ubuntu 10.04. This installation run perfectly (share folder, internet, installation of new software, etc). But suddenly when I try to get out the guest system of sleep mode I had no response. I force the machine to close and when I try to restart it, I can't boot it. I get the window give in the attachment.

Is someone can give me some hint to what can I do with this.

thanks

Since when did this happen? Ubuntu released a new kernel build this week and it's possible that kernel is causing some issues. Reboot the Guest and hold down the Shift key. That should get to the Grub2 menu. Select a different kernel from the list (like the third option, which will be the second kernel) and boot that, see how that goes.

Thanks for you answer Sasquatch,

I try what you suggested to me and in the grub option I only have two kernel option. One for normal mode and one of recovery mode. My kernel version is 2.6.32-24-generic. I try the recovery option and I get the same problem.

The problem happened this friday. I had download my ubuntu ISO this monday and I do an apt-get update ... upgarde this wednesday. I already do all my setup configuration to work so I really appreciate to recovery this installation.

thanks for your help
