DX Error - Gothic 2 Gold

Hello,

when i start the game 'Gothic 2 Gold' i get a Error:
X: XD3D_InitPerDX: Can't create D3DX context ! Error: DDERR_INVALIDCAPS
... is it fixable?

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Virtualbox 3.2.8 r64453
Host: FGLRX Driver (8.723.1)
Guest: Windows XP SP3 with installed Guest Additions (+3D Support; Dxdiag: 3d Test for DX8 and DX9 are fine)

Remember that you dont have native 3D capabilities. It might work for some games, mostly not.
