phpVirtualbox vs. VboxRemote

Post by memilanuk »

So... a question for those out there who may have played with both of these: which one would you recommend at this point?

Usage scenario: low-end desktop PC re-purposed for educational use, attached to home LAN behind a router/firewall. Host machine is running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS server, currently headless and accessed via ssh. I've managed to set up and run virtualbox from the command line and get some vm's up and running; enough to know that I'm going to have to find some easier way of starting/stopping/modifying/duplicating things than continually having the manual open to try and remember which commands in what sequence do what I want...

TIA,

Monte
