Only one network adapter can be enabled

Post by ROTHMAN »

When using a windows server 2003 virtual machine I only can see one network adapter on the windows server

When I try and add an extra network adapter on the virtual box menu i.e. device -> network adapter , adapter 2 is greyed out and wont let me enable it

I want two network cards so I can do an dns forward check going out to the net at present it will only do my local dns services which is fine

Could you let me know how I can have two network cards show up on my windows server 2003

Adapters can only be added when the guest is shut down.
You can connect and disconnect the cable while running if you need to control that.
