Host Linux Min9, guests Windows 7 64 bits No Sound

Post by diego87 »

hi ! :) ,
I'm new in the world of virtualbox, well, I'm having issues with the sound, I'm running Windows 7 home premium - 64 bits (guests) and it not recognized my sound card (it's a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music). I'm running in host Linux Mint 9 (derivative from Ubuntu 10.04), any advise, in how i can fix it? (I tried changing the host drivers of audio, but it doesn't do any change and I did too install Guest Additions) (I installed VMWare and my sound card works fine there, but I prefer VirtualBox).
Please help me to fix it ! Thanks a lot !
:)

It's mentioned dozens of times and can easily be found using Google: install the drivers for AC'97 manually by downloading them from the realtek site.
