Citizen CT-S310 Receipt printer in Windows 7

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to get a receipt printer to work with intuit's quickbooks. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.4 as my host. then running windows 7 through virtualbox. I cannot get the printer to work. I have downloaded the latest printer drivers for windows 7 and added the printer in the control panel. then in quickbooks I have added the printer in the Hardware features. but no go.

I have also tried adding the printer in Mac OS X first but there is currently no driver for Mac OS X. Ive tried using the general citizen driver in Mac OS X but it prints a bunch of code.

Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Try to get the USB port to work. Serial probably will not (IMO).
You must release the printer in MAC OS before you can connect it to the guest.
