3d in WIndows Guest: How to check?

Hi all,
I understand that installing Guest additions with 3d-support enabled requires installing in safe mode. I did so, but I would like to be sure that everything works ok before proceeding with testing e.g. games.

Is there any windows program that gives me an answer to the question: Is 3d support installed and does it work?

Guest: Win XP SP3.

Check "dxdiag". But dont expect to much, its not comparable to native access. Some games may work, new games dont work.
