Windows 7 Guest crashes after new installation

Hello,
I installed VirtualBox about 1 year ago in the version which has been the newest at this time. I created severeal Guests, e.g. a XP for scanning and printing and a Win 7 Pro for a special software I need. My Host is Windows 7 Ultimate.
Last week I installed my Host completely new. I used the newest version of VirtualBox and created new machines basing on the *.vdi of my old machines. The XP guest works well, but the Win 7 guest crashes with a bluescreen before it is asking for userID and Password. The System diagnostics reports an error in the registry.
I don't know the reason for the error. There are several possibilities:
Thanks in advance for each hint
Regards
Peter

I don't know the reason for the error. There are several possibilities:
- There is an inconsistence between the VirtualBox versions regarding the import of existing machines
- I didn't install all the drivers which I installed last time on my host. May be this causes the guest to crash
- ...
