Is there to tell the VM to run commands after resuming

Post by Lawbayly »

One thing that is really annoying me about saving state, is when It is resumed, the time is wrong, and even though I have ntp, it won't update to the right time, so I'd like to be able to run `/etc/init.d/ntp restart` on the virtual guest, when I resume the VM.

Can it be done?

Guests are Debian Squeeze with the latest or near-latest VBoxAdditions installed

Probably unhelpful but mine does not have this problem. So suspect getting rid of ntp would solve it.
