Hi all,
I'm new to VirtualBox. I installed Ubuntu 10.04 (a command-line system, no Xorg, no framebuffer) as a guest under Vista host. Then I installed Guest Additions - except, obviously, the X modules. When I try to enter full-screen mode, I get only a small window in the center of a black screen. How do I get a real full-screen display for my guest?
Thanks in advance!
Ubuntu 10.04 guest w/o Xorg, GA installed - fullscreen?

Thanks, will try that, though I couldn't understand from the linked thread whether or not it requires framebuffer.fixedwheel wrote:http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19569

Or you can check this out http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic. ... 14#p148469 you can set the size to what ever you need. See screen shot of one I did.

IIRC the vga=<something> kernel parm works without framebuffer, just needs matching VESA mode support from displaytemcat wrote:though I couldn't understand from the linked thread whether or not it requires framebuffer.
