Can't log on to Windows Server 2008 in VirtualBox

I have successfully created a Server 2008 machine in VirtualBox, but when I complete the setup and try the initial login, the screen requests I press ctr+alt+delete. Once I do that I simply go to Task Manager on my PC and out of the VB window. If I close Task Manager and go back to the VB window I am back to the same point and cannot log on. Can someone help?
