How to manage multiple Virtual Box VMs on multiple PCs

I plan to have VirtualBox VMs running on at least three different physical computers. What tool/utility is available so that all of the VMs can be managed from a single console?
Anyone having experience with any tool/utility available free/paid on the market, please share their experience.
Thanks in advance.

I came here to ask pretty much the same question. I have three nodes and I would like to set them up using one shared storage pool. Is there an easy way to move virtual machines (in an off state, not live) from one node to the other? I want to be able to spread machines out as needed to other nodes. Basically what I need is some way to transfer the machine configuration data from one node to the other, while all the vdi files sit in one common storage pool.

Well, even I have though of doing some thing similar. But, my question to you is - wouldn't you see a big performance drop when your vdi's are on local disk v/s being on a network drive?

Actually I want to store the disk files on a networked file server. Each node will have access to the same set of disk files. This would be the same as using a SAN. One thing that did cross my mind. I wonder what would happen if you pointed each node at the same set of data files? Would they conflict or behave nicely? Looks like I have a weekend project to try out.

So the best solution I can see is libvirt. It is suppose to support many hypervisors including virtualbox. Dont know how well it will work, but its worth a shot. Also, its probably all command line.
