I just upgraded from 3.2.6 to 3.2.8. My Windows XP VM Guest under OSX 10.6.4 (all updates loaded). Now My on Virtual Box shows Normal inaccessible in VB media manager. When I try to boot the VM I get the following error mesg:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Win XP SP3 32 Bit.
Medium type of '/Users/Shared/Library/VirtualBox/HardDisks/{5de727da-6ade-4778-84fc-5597b7fd134b}.vmdk' is differencing but it is not associated with any parent medium in the media registry ('/Users/sharon/Library/VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml').

I did not change anything other than download and upgrade from 3.2.4 to 3.2.6.

I assume this fix is run from the console unix prompt under mac os x? Please confirm any other details regarding how I run the tool for example do you need quotes around the file with full path name? Single or double quotes? Does it matter what folder you run the tool in? There are some other notes in this ticket and I am just not sure what to follow. Thanks for your help with this.
