CentOS, Installing Guest Additions Fail, Permission denied

Post by Hunter067 »

CentOS 5.5, a Linux operating based on Redhat Enterprise, will not allow me to install guest additions, both though the autorun prompt and the terminal logged on as the root it keeps giving me this message:

Code: Select all

-bash: media/VBOXADDITIONS_3.2.8_64453/VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run: bin/sh: bad interpreter, Permission denied
In this regard I don't know what to do, help?

Host: Windows 7 64-bit
