Hello all!
I tried to search the forum about this issue, but I did not find any answer about it.
I am running VB 3.2.1 on a Windows 7 host.
I need to run XBMC on my VM, but it needs Direct3D to work. I Installed Guest Additions with Direct3D, but it looks like it does not work, when I open DXDIAG, the direct3D option is still not available.
Did I miss anything?
Thanks!
Nathan

Did you install the guest additions in safe mode? Press (F8) at boot. (Only 32 bit is supported)
See Chapter 4.5.1. Hardware 3D acceleration (OpenGL and Direct3D 8/9) in your VirtualBox users guide.

3D has been broken for me as well since updating to 3.2.8.
I always install the VBoxAdditions under safe mode. 3D has worked for me in previous versions of Virtual Box.
