I'm running Virtual Box on Windows 7 Professional x64 using an Intel Xeon 3680.

I have notice a couple of problems with our software application when running a VM with more than one CPU:

• MSXML gets into an infinite loop under a Windows XP Guest.
• The Java ZIP library fails to unzip some files because it finds bad blocks under a Windows 7 Guest.

The first problem does not happen under Virtual Box when I have only 1 CPU enabled. The second problem I have not tested under a 1 CPU VM yet.

Neither of these problems happens under VMWare Workstation. Based on my observations I think Virtual Box has some issues with multiple CPUs enabled in a Virtual Machine. Has anyone else seem similar issues?
