Cannot access guest via SSH from WAN

I have the following configuration:
Asus WL500GP wireless router with port forwarding (3333 to 192.168.1.123:22)
since this router has it's own SSH server I changed the connection port to 3333.
I use Gentoo LIveCD as Guest.
When I start SSH server, i can access it via port 3333 no problem.
However, it absolutely cannot be accessed from WAN.
Port 3333 is reported closed and connections time out.
I use Bridged Adapter setting with my Wi-Fi network card selected.
One strage thing - eth0 is not being detected upon Gentoo startup, and I have to set it manually.
After this, everything works - except for SSH WAN access.
I disabled firewalls both on router and in Windows.
This kinda drives me crazy.
Anyone?
Please point me towards some troubleshooting practices.
Thank you.
