Will Pro Tools work with a virtual W7 on a Mac?

Will Pro Tools 8LE (which means also using a Pro Tools audio interface) work under W7 running on Virtualbox on OSX on a Mac?

If you can run both Operating Systems, why not install it on either of it? Did you even bother to TRY to install and run the program in VB? We don't have access to every piece of software and can't test it. We can say "it works" while it actually doesn't, or the other way around. Please, try it before asking.

I don't have VB installed so it's FAR quicker and more efficient for me to ask the VB community if it's possible than for me to try it myself which would be very time consuming. Also, someone might have some advice and tips to get it working. I have no intention of installing VB if it doesn't work so I'm asking questions first before wasting my time.

I only have a PC running W7 but you told me I couldn't ask about the reverse of this question, hence why I flipped it, as it may well give me the answer I'm looking for.

So you don't like wasting time, yet while you wait for the answer to pop up here (and that might never happen), you could have installed VB with a VM quite a few times already. So which is more time efficient, wait until an answer is given or try it yourself? I vote for doing it yourself, as waiting can be days, or even months.
