Internet Not Working. Help?

Hi there,

I'm using Virtual Box 3.2.6 on Mac OS X host running Windows XP guest.

Network Adapter: PCnet-FAST III (NAT)

I've been using this setup after the install without any problems for several weeks. Then suddenly, internet stopped working on the Windows guest. I've tried setting the network adapter to other settings without any luck.

Can someone please help me?

Using NAT it should not fail. I would put it back and then consider what has changed since the last time you used it. Have you installed software or something that would have cause this to fail?

I did install software, but it was working for awhile with the software.

I'm trying to figure out how to even begin trouble shooting this? Any idea?

It's back at NAT, and I don't know where to look inside Windows to fix this.

NAT should work no matter what but the network settings in Windows should be set to DHCP.
I know MACs have a way to revert to a time before you started having problems. Have you considered that as a way to get this to work? You would loose programs since but it may give you a chance to figure out what went wrong.
