Is it possible?

Post by zeka »

Hi, ALL

I'm new here and new to VM.
Before starting to use it against my WinXT, I would like to know whether it is possible to boot directly from the VM, avoiding the load and long waiting (svchost.exe?) of WinXT in full extent?

I would like to have first the VM loaded and then the option for other OS Win or Chrome.
Is that possible?

Thanks for your support ;-)

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but a Virtual PC application, like any other application, requires the resources of a host OS in order to work. Even the so called "bare metal" hypervisors require a cut down host OS - and VirtualBox does not claim to be a bare metal hypervisor.
