For what the hell do someone need this software or other products like this?
Windows has a firewall. So nothing else is needed instead of virus protection.
And there MS Security Essentials is a product working well in virtual guests. Or Antivir for XP.
The version numbers of must products is the percentage rate of windows running faster without that products.
For linux guests here is the ultimate firewall:
Code: Select all
#!/bin/bash
echo -n Starting firewall.
while true; do
sleep 1
echo -n .
if [ $(($RANDOM%13)) -eq 2 ]; then
break;
fi
done
echo
echo Your system is now secure\!
while true; do
sleep $(($RANDOM%53))
echo "Blocked attack from host $(($RANDOM%256)).$(($RANDOM%256)).$(($RANDOM%256)) .$(($RANDOM%255+1)) on port $(($RANDOM%65535+1))!!!"
done
exit 0

We use antiviruses and firewalls only for better security in internet...

Yes, they both are working perfectly on VB!

It works fine if you enable VT-x / AMD-V.
