first of all, I'm so sorry for posting in Swedish first, I forgot this is an English forum
Anyway.
I've been fiddling alot with linux-guests the past few days and something odd occurred the other day...
3 distributions are currently on trial as guests, Latest Linux Mint (can't remember exact version), Ubuntu 10.04.1 and Opensuse (also latest)..
When I go to a swedish site for speedtest of your internet connection, I get huge differences in speed. The site is "www.bredbandskollen.se".
In Mint I get usually between 35-47mbits download (upload is the same on both machines), but in Ubuntu I get between 65 and 70 mbits, that's a huge difference?
Also, guests through Virtualbox don't get the same speed as real machines, which would be understandable to a certain extent, but I get 90-95+ on my windows 7 machine and tops 70-75 on a virtual linux-guest (Ubuntu)..
Is that the kind of loss I can count on?
Again, sorry for writing in Swedish before...
