Good morning
I've got a serious problem. Hoping some of the 'clever' oracle guys have a solution for me. I've been working on my MAC with virtual box 3.2.8 for the last week, creating a VM with Suse Linux, and configuring some software. I then tried to copy the VDI file to a windows machine, but had endless problems trying to start-up the VM, with the VM just booting into GRUB, and staying there. I then tried to export the VM as an appliance in Mac OSX version, and tried to import it under windows 7, I got an error with MF file not matching SHA1 values. I tried to add the VMDK file straight into the virtual media manager, and got the following error:
VD: error VERR_VD_VMDK_INVALID_FORMAT opening file 'c:
\Users\DaBump\Appliance\Suse Branch 11 SP1 Server.vmdk'
(VERR_ID_VMDK_INVALID_FORMAT)
Any way to get around this error?
What is the best way to share VM images between MAC OSX and Windows 7? Or how can I solve the above error.
Herewith my specs:
Machine: 17 inch Macbook Pro
OS: Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.4
Ram: 8 Gigs
HDD: 500 gig
Bootcamp: Windows 7 - 64 bit
Both windows 7 and macosx runs Virtualbox 3.2.8
Thanks,

Re: Export application under MAC, importing under windows fails
Rename the mf file (mfold) or delete it and try to import again without editing anything.
export/import seems to have a problem since version 3.2.*
