Virtual core to physical core

Post by emilise »

Hey,

I configured my VM to use 2 cores but when using it, it nevers uses 2 physical cores of my machine (quad core). Only one core gets to 100% use, others stay to 10-20%. I'm a newbie regarding those virtual and physical cores, and I wonder why I can't make my VM use 2 physical cores.

Thanks for your help.
