Will 'Intel Only' programs work on an AMD processor

Post by nuksies »

Hi all,

This is probably a very obvious question but I'm very new to this stuff!

Just tried installing OSX and was going to install Google Chrome, but it says it is only for Intel processors, not AMD. Is this really true?
Is it not possible to run Chrome on an AMD?

Thanks in advance!

You have to ask that question in the Google Chrome OS forums, not here. Mac guests are explained in the sticky here: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest
