Mac OS X and EFI

Post by jellymann »

Hey Everybody

I'm sorry if I sound like a n00b, I'm not very knowledgeable in terms of Virtualization.

What is EFI and how do I use it? I tried typing "help" but all the commands rolled down the screen and I didn't get a chance to look at them. I tried Googling but I couldn't find anything. Can I use the EFI to input boot commands before booting off a CD? For instance, running Mac OS X with -v for verbose or "platform=x86pc" as a boot command?

Thanks in advance :)
