version: 3.2.6
host: Windows Vista 32-bit
guest: Windows 2003 Server 32-bit (guest additions installed)
When connecting guest OS through Windows RDP (I mean not VirtualBox RDP) VBoxTray.exe loads CPU up to 100%. After killing the VBoxTray.exe process it's OK.
I've created bug report but it still has "new" status.

What is the bug report number? Not every new bug is fixed the moment you create one or even replied to. It takes time. Be patient.

I think it's there to check if there is a new GA version and monitor the services. That's about it I think. I know it doesn't provide dynamic resolutions and seamless mouse, as some users closed the tray process and still had seamless mode, full screen, dynamic resolutions and mouse integration.

No idea, I'm not a dev, nor an employee of Oracle. Why don't you just check the bugtracker to see which tickets are still marked as new? Then you might get a fair idea how long it can take.

I've seen the same behavior. If I rdp into the host machine the VM's vboxtray.exe process will use whatever remaining portion of the cpu time that is available. Causing cpu utilization within the VM to remain steady at 100% until I end the process.
