HELP..cant activate Ubuntu 9.10 effects..

HELP..cant activate Ubuntu 9.10 effects..
Sir,i have a problem on both winxp and win7 host,.,i installed both of them with vbox and ubuntu 9.10,i also installed guest additions on both and enabled 3d accl,and then installed compiz config settings but the problem is,the Ubuntu effects doesnt show up,does it because of the both host pc just have a built in video card?i also notice that the default video memory on both machines are just 128mb,.,does it prevent the ubuntu to run graphical effects?thanks for any reply sir..

Check the VirtualBox FAQ for 3D effects. VRAM doesn't matter, can even be 16 MB.

That is in the FAQ. Cards that are the 945 or older do NOT support hardware OpenGL. That is needed for VB's 3D. Get a real video card.
