Okay, after installing Virtualbox and all the things required to install and run Windows 98. I started receiving error messages, after seeing them, and time after time blatantly, ignoring them, I decided to look at the log file. Here is what it read:
Log created: 2010-07-29T19:16:01.719796000Z
Executable: /Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/../Resources/VirtualBoxVM.app/Contents/MacOS/VirtualBoxVM
fatal error in recompiler cpu: triple fault
I know the other users have been having this problem, and it has easily been corrected by disabling VT-x/AMD-V, however, even if they are disabled, the error still occurs, and I'm puzzled as to why it does this. I am sure this problem is due to virtualbox, because the I was able to install Windows 98 on another machine, that machine is no longer used. I don't know why this occurs.
If you need to know what my processor specs are: 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo (Yonah) that is all that the system would provide me.
I came here because I knew I would find a solution of somesort.
