What does Palm have to do with VB? It's not one of the supported systems.

It is not a supported OS as far as VirtualBox is concerned. The support for this would come from the person that supports the information on how to install and use it. Where did you get this information? Did you ask the palm pre developer site?

Below is the url: http://developer.palm.com/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=55
of what things are needed to write apps. It has virtualbox as one of the things that are needed.
Below are a few lines from the palm developer center.

So based on what you are saying you don't support web os, but we os directly. Meaning it runs under windows through the emulator?.

But based on the emulator provided by 1.4.5.465 it does look like the palm pre.
When you run the oracle vm virtual box and select and sdk(in this case the 1.4.5.465 palm webos sdk) it does show up with
an emulator that looks like the one for the palm pre.. Below is the component versions.

ROFL!

When are you going to listen? Nobody here is going to be able to support what you are trying to do.

You are going to have to contact Palm or what ever web site you got this software from.

pvirt789,

I am trying to help you but you need to understand that we "Oracle VirtualBox" do not support the Palm OS or anything that they may do with our appliance. I have no idea of what button you are talking about. Why? Because I don't have a palm appliance nor do I use their program application.

With that said if you don't understand, I can not help you to figure out what to do next.

Any more conversation on this particular topic would simple add to a flame war and that will not help you are anyone else.
If at sometime you want to install one of the supported guest OSes http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Guest_OSes , I would be more than happy to help.
