Hello.
I have installed Windows XP in Virtual Box.
Now i would use Dragon Naturally Speaking 8.
But the Microphone wouldn't work.

Under my host(Linux Open suse, OSS), i can record my voice, it works excelently, but under the Virtual Windows i can't do that...

Some help?

Sincerely,
Jonas...

I'm running VB 1.6 (not the OSE version) on Ubuntu 8.04 x64 on my Macbook Pro. After installing guest additions, uncommenting some parts of /etc/init.d/mountdevsub.sh and adding usb to /etc/fstab (as described elsewhere), the USB mic is recognized and sends audio to the guest, but the sound is garbled.

Would really love some help.

Well aren't we going round and coming to the same place?! Recently I had choppy sound (like you guys) and it was gone after I switched to OSS and Pulse audio. Now my microphone doesn't work and I have to switch back to ALSA!!!
Not to mention that sound is choppy again with new release of VB.
