Hi All,
Ive been working on this all day and have not had any success, so i hope you can help me.
I have configured Windows 7 as my guest OS on my Mac running Snow Leopard. What I am looking to do is to test websites in IE8 via WAMP on the guest OS, but the files are located on my host machine. I have succesfully mapped the drive to the guest OS and can view the files in windows explorer, but I cannot get WAMP to acknowledge the alias for the files on my host machine.
If anyone can help, I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance

Help yourself first.
Tell exact the way how you mapped the host drive to the guest.

Re: mapping host drive for guest localhost
In the VirtualBox config I have set up the folder location as a Shared Folder, then in Win7 I have mapped it to a drive letter. When I try to create the alias in WAMP it says the drive does not exist although I can view the contents in Win Explorer.
