Extremely slow screen refresh in debian 5 guest.

The host machine: Athlon II 630, 4Gb DDR3 1600, Radeon 4200 128Mb integrated, OS Vista SP2, VirtualBox 3.2.6
Guest machine: 1 core, AMD VT-X/Nested Paging/PAE-NX, 32Mb video, 8Gb HDD, OS Debian 5.05

So as I try to install Debian I expirience very slow screen refresh when it comes to different tables and dialog boxes in setup program (text mode). I see them being drawn line by line as in 30 years old terminals.
Can it be fixed or it's an issue in VirtualBox?

I'm steel expiriencing the issue with VB 3.2.8 and Debian 5.0.6
Any help would be appresiated
