I'd like some thoughts/considerations from anyone who has experience with storing a VDI on a NFS share.

I am particularly interested in the "--hostiocache" option and how disabling it might be beneficial for NFS storage.

If the NFS mount "goes away" temporarily, how does VirtualBox respond?
