Hi
I have a VM that I can savestate by pressing host+q and save state, but if I go to the commandline and issue a VBoxManage controlvm <vm> savestate it gets stuck and doesn't progress . the VM locks up and I have to kill the process.
what can I do to debug this and maybe fix it as well.
Alex

Re: cmdline savestate fails locksup vm
tried that,
just had it fail to take a snapshot of a running machine .... (ctrl + home / take snap shot) - did a strace it was trying to talk to fd 17 -> sockets connection to some where
works okay if the machine is off !

created a new vb and tried it with that, it gets stuck at the same spot - 4/4 99% done....this is getting rather annoying - I am going to guess is going to turn our to be a permissions thing
