VirtualBox shared clipboard doesn’t work anymore

Post by picardo »

I am using Windows 7 host and Ubuntu guest. I installed Guest Additions, and made sure Shared Clipboard is enabled as Bidirectional under Settings. It was working after the first time I restarted my virtual machine, but after a second restart, there is no clipboard sharing any longer. I don't know what happened. I reinstalled Guest Additions, and yet it didn't help.

Just to validate, I am having the same issue. Host is Win 7 64-bit. I have no shared clipboard in Ubuntu guest nor in a Win 7 32-bit guest.

These kinds of problems that are reproducible should be reported to bugtracker. You will need to setup an account there as it is on a different system.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results.
