Saved machine state, rebooted host, now cannot start Windows

Post by bbdesign »

I was doing some work in my Windows 7 install on my Macintosh host. I saved the machine state, quit VirtualBox, restarted the Macintosh. Restarted VirtualBox, clicked to state the Windows 7, and I get:

Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)
Make sure the kernal module has been loaded successfully. [Abort]

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Windows 7. The virtual machine 'Windows 7' has terminated unexpected during startup with exit code 1.

Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x800004005)
Component: Machine
Interface: IMachine {6d9212cb-a5c0-48b7-bbc1-3fa2ba2ee6d2}

The machine was running low on C drive disk space when I saved the machine state. Do I have any hope of recovering my virtual machine? Thank you!
