Fedora 13 guest additions

Hallo all,
I have problem with the installation of the guest additions for Fedora 13,
I have a MacBook 2.4 Ghz Intel Core Duo processor.
Since I had problems in installing the guest additions I searched on the net and I found this site:

I followed the instructions therein and run the installation script for the -X86 machine (such as my mac).
It started working but after this error appeared:
VirtualBox Guest Additions installer:
Detected unsupported amd64 environment

My pc has not an amd cpu! I tried to install the amd version and at first it gave me an error,
I re booted the Fedora and magically the resolution had passed from 800x600 to 1024x768
(but still the additions were not considered installed)

I tried again with the amd64 and it seemd to install the additions.
Apparently everything was fine but after rebooting still the guest additions are not detected,

any help or idea is very welcome!

Instead of following that little to no help guide, use the Howto: Install Linux Guest Additions + Xorg config instead. See if following my guide works better.
