Hello

I want to create LACP interface on my guest server machine which runs under control of VBox.
Can I create LACP interfaces on the VBox site to support this connection between server and switch ??

If you elaborate a little bit more about what you are trying to achieve,
I believe some guys can have experiences to share in pieces of your problem

LACP = Link Aggregation Control Protocol

Long story short it allows one to aggregate multiple physical ethernet interfaces into a logical port channel. LACP allows for the ethernet ports on the switch in the port channel to negotiate proper and orderly communications with the downstream member ethernet ports on the server via LACP packets. Given four ethernet ports in a port channel as an example this would create what looks like and operates as a single 4-gigabit connection. Load balancing and failover are also automatically built-in and included as long as there are two or more links in the port channel.

I utilize this with my Linux VirtualBox servers using the linux bonding subsystem. Setup the ports on the switch which are to be members of your desired port channel to 802.3ad. You can usually leave the LACPDU intervals at their defaults.

NOTE Bonding modes like ALB (Adaptive Load Balancing) which do not require a switch with 802.3ad capabilities DO NOT work with a network interface which is utilized as a bridge. Sparing long winded details a quick google search will yield all the technical details as to why.

OK, so what I must do to run this on linux machine as guest to vbox ?

Choose non bridged network type, configure linux bonding subsystem, etc.
Please give me steps.
