Hi all,
I'm running VirtualBox on my Macbook 10.5.8, with BootCamp installed. I'm trying to install wireless network, but it doesn't seem to exist even though there is a 'Set up a wireless network', which seems to require my own access point or USB. When I try to re-install BootCamp, it reports an error that can be fixed after the machine restarts, which doesn't work after I restarted.
I tried to add network adapter (Mac's AirPort), but Window only sees it as LAN adapter. Please please help...

What does bootcamp have to do with VB? I don't see you mention it anywhere.

Re: Need help on wireless
Well, I didn't have any problems with wireless networking when I was using a separate partition and BootCamp only, but now I'm using VirtualBox and BootCamp (which is responsible for the wireless driver), it doesn't work and wireless networking is nowhere to be found.
Please Help

Still don't see the relation. My crystal boll is also on maintenance. Care to clarify some more?

Re: Need help on wireless
Well, I think the problem is that I can use wireless LAN using separate partition and BootCamp, but not with logical partition and VirtualBox even though I'm using BootCamp as well.
Also, I noticed that when I try to add AirPort (network adapter) as Adapter 2, VirtualBox recognize it as a LAN adapter, not a WLAN adapter and create a LAN network with an imaginary MAC address. No WLAN can be found anywhere even though wireless driver (from BootCamp) is correctly installed.
I'm not sure what type of information you need, I hope this is enough. Maybe you can tell me how did you set up your WLAN in Windows using VB.
Regards
PS: It's also strange that when I try to un-install BootCamp, it doesn't work and error messages keep showing up. Same thing happen if I try to install it (again).

Re: Need help on wireless
How I set up my wifi on a VM? I didn't. Because the answer is in the VirtualBox FAQ and the User Manual, chapter 6 - Virtual Networking. Didn't read it? Do it now!
