Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04 Full Screen & Seamless mode issue

Hi,

I have a small problem when running Ubuntu 10.04 in fullscreen mode. When I do this nothing I click responds as though the VM has locked up with the exception of mouse movement and function returns when I go back to Window mode. Seamless mode seems to work but I have an issue with that also...

When in seamless mode all the Linux open application frames disappear so I cannot close, minimise or maximise an open application window.

I'm running vBox 3.2.6 on a Win7 Host. Hardware is a Dell Optiplex 745 Intel GPU.

Hope these will be fixed soon.

Thanks
Jamie

Try turning off the screen effects in the Ubuntu guest when you want to go into seamless mode.

Doing this also fixed the full screen problem. Thanks for the tip.

Hopefully in a future release vBox will support Visual Effects in these modes.
