I think my brother downloaded keylogger in my virtualbox so my question is if my virtualbox gets infected with keylogger will my main OS (windows 7) get infected with keylogger aswell? I told him why he did it and he told me that he didn't want to harm my main OS lol dunno what he was thinking but yeh so is my main OS safe?

Your Virtual Machine will be infected, VirtualBox will not be infected (AFAIK).
Your host may not have been infected, but you need to run a check on it.
So delete the Virtual Machine and start over, after checking the host.
