VirtualBox freezes during the boot process without an error message. The virtual HDD was created with Paragon Harddisk Manager 2010.
I use Virtual Box Version 3.2.6

Guest OS? VM settings?
If a Windows guest hangs with a black screen then the usual reason is that the IO APIC setting is wrong.

I have not used VirtualBox, VMware, but you need to configure the network interfaces virtual visualization as two on the same machine can talk to each other.

Can you explain what this means and how it applies to the original poster's problem?
