Failed to import appliance

Environment:

Host system: Windows 7 64-bit
VirtualBox version: 3.2.6

Problem: exported two VMs from VMware as ovf/vdmk files.
VM1 is Server 2003.
VM2 is XP Pro SP3.
In VirtualBox, did File -> Import Appliance.
Imported Server 2003 with no problems.
Did File -> Import Appliance again
It went to 100% of importing XP Pro.
At 100%, I get the following error:

Failed to import appliance F:\OVF VMs\XP Pro\XP Pro.ovf.
Device is already attached to port 1, device 0 o controller 'IDE Controller' of this virtual machine.
Result Code: VBOX_E_OBJECT_IN_USE (0x80BB000C)
Component: Machine
Interface: IMachine {6d9212cb-a5c0-48b7-bbc1-3fa2ba2ee6d2}

I checked the VirtualBox.xml file and only found entries for Server 2003. There is only one hard disk listed.

Can anyone assist me? I have to get this ready, check 12 chapters of labs and be ready to teach a summer school course by July 6.
Thanks!
-Mark

This doesn't sound exactly like what I have seen but it could have something to do with a ticket I posted a few days ago. See http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/7001

Well, after carefully reading the error message and looking at the XP Pro.ovf file, I decided to see if I could find a reference to IDE 1, device 0. I did! I simply removed the following code from the ovf file and the VM imported and works perfectly. Go figure!

<Item ovf:required="false">
<rasd:Caption>ide1:0</rasd:Caption>
<rasd:InstanceId>6</rasd:InstanceId>
<rasd:ResourceType>15</rasd:ResourceType>
<rasd:AutomaticAllocation>false</rasd:AutomaticAllocation>
<rasd:Parent>3</rasd:Parent>
<rasd:AddressOnParent>0</rasd:AddressOnParent>
</Item>

Kind of what they were talking about in the ticket. Somewhere they are adding info that should not be added.
