VM error message should pop up again at startup

Hi there,
I am new to Linux, new to VirtualBox, so pls be patient.
History: I somehow messed up my sound configuration in Linux. Thus when starting my VM (guest: Windows XP) an error message popped up saying that there is something wrong with the PCM output in Linux that could make audio applications in Windows stall. After several tries I clicked the box to not show this message anymore at startup.
I am kind of explorer and want to solve problems myself, but I need to "switch on" this error message again in order to know that everything works fine as soon as I have settled my Linux audio problems (openSuse 11.2).
Could anyone help on what file to edit to get this error message pop up again.

Open the main VirtualBox program and click on help. Then click on reset all warnings.

Audio related messages are also in your log file, with a bit more information than "host system not responding". It will actually tell you what it tries to load, what's not responding and what it tries/does next. Right click on your VM from the main GUI, then select Show Log. The last 4 runs will be shown.

I somehow messed up my sound configuration in Linux.
Am I correct in assuming that you have a problem in the Host with your audio? Or is this a Linux guest.

This means that somehow, ALSA is in use and opened exclusively. This should not happen. Some program on your Host is taking exclusive rights to the audio system, so shut down all programs that might use audio and start the VM again. If you have audio now, you solved the VB part. Next is to get your Host to play nice with audio. There are plenty of hits on Google for proper configuration of audio applications, it basically ends with 'set software to use default setting instead of card specific'.
